The inspiration for this shoot designed by our team was derived directly from the whimsy of the lush surrounding of the venue, a private villa in Sicily, South Italy. The scent of the citrus blossom and jasmine pervades the gardens and the courtyards in the evening. The gardens and the elegant rooms are filled with charm and ambience and our team wanted to match this atmosphere with the whimsy of the deepest Sicilian tradition.
Warm and joyful like the decorations of the traditional “carretto” and like the illuminations of its festivals Sicily it’s an explosion of lights and colors; the same that we wanted to revive in the table décor and in all the unexpected details of a wedding in Sicily.
Bringing on our great partner and floral-magic-maker Hanami Atelier was a must. The abundant florals are romantic, graceful and filled with amazing details like seasonal fruits. Mauve linens are the perfect accent to the colors and warm feels of the floral arrangements, while our graphic designer added a timeless touch with the precious stationery.
We love all the details, from the gold cutlery to the deep blue plates, the old doilies and the mix of colors of the vibrant florals and the green candles, but the customized stationery, inspired to the local ceramics, is definitely a unique touch. Not to mention the decadent wedding cake.
